Ammo limits back

So people who use lasers (which have unlimited ammo and let you stay in a fight indefinately) might as well play space invaders?

Also: From the perspective of "a fight", the MC *does* have unlimited ammo. Docking is something you do between fights (and harvesting minerals before or between).

Besides, lasers aren't unlimited either, you need to manage your power effectively. And even then. You can't pewpew indefinitely.

They functionally are. They distributor can have a recharge time; but this is analogous to the magazine reload on a MC, not to flying back to station.

I'd rather dock for 10 minutes and go get a cuppa and a biscuit or two.

Then do it. There's nothing about unlimited ammo that stops you. Play how you want to play.

I was, when I opened this thread willing to take it seriously and with an open mind. Although since reading my way to the back page where you have aggressively defended your argument instead of taking other individuals comments on board, I have come to the conclusion that maybe you should stop playing Elite if you don't enjoy the "grind" which I find a strange term anyway due to the fact that anything can become a grind if played long enough and not enjoyed anymore.

Nevertheless, you only weaken your position by insulting people who disagree with you, try to remember we are all still human beings on the other end of this forum ok? I am sorry that you don't like having to restock your ammo but maybe understand that it will not change and creating a thread on the forum that you know would anger people (because your not stupid) is not the solution. I apologise if your offended and I will stand by for the harassment you will probably throw at me for writing this :D

Probaby; but I wasn't give much else to work with.

I put up my position, complete with why, and immediately received three passive-aggressive responses that contributed nothing.

Seriously. Start at post #1 and go through at least page one. Put number of posts where I was, you feel, insulting on one column and number where I was insulted in the other.

Better still. Look a the first insult between one person and another, whether in the form of a direct personal attack or a passive-aggressive "you can't be serious" remark. See how it looks.
Or look at the first interaction to ignore the topic itself with each person.

You are welcome to your opinion regarding tennor. It's not universal, and it's certainly not mine. I'd be happy to discuss the merits of my position and problem with it... but no one on the other side seems interested.

Even your post... did it contribute to the topic? Was this thread improved by it?

So , if you are fine with ammo in other games why not in elite?

Buying ammo is like buying fuel it grounds it in reality.

I do think we should be able to buy extra ammo storage instead of having cargo holds but its not that bad
