I reckon, some SDC members aren't gentlemen persay and I don't see reasons to infiltrate Mobius other than to bother people.

They are playing by the rules of the game and as is clear in my other thread. Everyone's definition of what is griefing is personal, there for pointless.

Invading Mobius to do what ever you want is not against the TOS as stated very clearly by Brett. It is down to the owner of a private group to police its members.
It only becomes against the TOS ( loosely ) when they circumvent being removed, by sneaking back in under an alt.

Its important to know the facts! They help

Imagine they will go into Open, use the block button to remove any threat and just push a hidden away faction somewhere.
Then get their fleet carrier and continue to produce epic salt from this community.

Nope, not sulking laughing at how this broken mechanic you are weirdly championing can be used to help griefers get what they want.

In many ways this block button can be abused to make griefing EVER easier.

But please keep making people aware.. because it really is impacting griefing.. I mean.. honestly... so so much... like wow..

I can only imagine its because SDC haven't really done anything since then that you consider toxic

Good thought. Are we affiliate to a player faction by the game though ? And what about people playing in solo only ?

Looking forward for more info about Squadron Carrier.

This doesn't cover actions performed in game. This is a copypasta for basically every T&C basically saying that I can't threaten to come to your house and murder you, call you a fat cousin so-and-so or [insert racism here]. It doesn't stop me or anyone else using game mechanics and blowing up everything you hold dear because no rules are being broken. Sure, you could call it bullying or griefing but that only applies if I'm DIRECTLY going after you, nobody else.

By the by, they aren't actually insults, they're examples.

I'm not sure solo players will be able to qualify as a squadron, I'm expecting maybe a BGS link similar to PP as in the more missions you do from the carrier the more votes you get on executive control or something. You are right though it's too early to speculate with any degree of accuracy.

To be clear, invading a private group is not an EULA violation. Being banned from a private group and trying to re-join is an EULA violation, though. FDev does not enforce PG rules as a policy, so ganking in Mobius is disallowed by Mobius' rules, not FDev rules.

I think it will have to be available to solo players, otherwise you are opening the door to inequality between the modes and play styles and then there would be no reason not to make certain things only available in open ,etc.

Yep, I can see it working from solo mode with no issues, if that players in a player faction. Just getting and maintaining one might be a bit beyond a player running a single player squadron though.

To be honest it's exactly the same as C&P we probably should wait and see.

Careful though, modes are only equal regarding the BGS impact not regarding play styles : Wings, multicrew or PvP are not available in solo.

Does it really matter? the main point being even if you break the rules no punishment ensues... Very libertarian (and I thought they'd banned politics - )

I wonder if the carrier can be attacked and destroyed, and if it has insurance. Also, how is the persistence done? Does it exist when you're logged out (which I guess it must), then how/where is it monitored/managed? But that's not important right now, i know. Just questions I know will come up later this year.

I'm sure it'll be a megaship, can't be destroyed but a UA attack or similar might be possible.

My money is still on allowing all PFs to 'buy' a Gnosis like Cannon got given.

It sounds like the usual bare minimum effort, all boxes ticked, now onto the next thing on the checklist approach I've come to expect.
