I almost did one of those. Then, when I was about to leave and tried calling taxi, I got some connection error. When I got back, mission objectives were reset, but I did not have that power regulator (or something) thingy needed to restore power anymore, so... mission abandoned.
Things like that make it not really worth engaging in Odyssey content right now.

He's right though, they don't work 100% of the time. Or at least mine didn't until the last hotfix.
Being rude because they works for you doesn't help.
You can salvage one on your own, but otherwise they are always given by the mission giver for the purpose of the quest.

And I still can't find any that are closer than 21,000Ly is annoying. Especially when you need to do 10 of them to unlock an engineer...
