I was promised food. Where is the food?
If you're back, my advice is bring popcorn and tissues.I thought I had missed this place, it turns out, I've missed nothing.
I'm still waiting for someone to actually write out their letter and post it to Cambridge.
I'd be interested in why you think those people react the way they do?Maybe some of us just find it funny the way people are reacting to a game's DLC being janky and unfinished as if it was the Hindenburg going down.

I'm sorry, I was trying to be polite and am used to a nowadays rather old fashioned conversation style, be it spoken or written form. I do understand that this can be quite the contrast depending which communication platform we are looking at in that regard. I chose the open letter format mainly because of having or seeing no other option to express my concern and how i feel about what I wrote. I understand if this comes across as self entitled, I can only ask to believe me that in no way this represents my character. Please also do consider that english is not my first language, so I take extra care in formulation. I think I spent over an hour writing the start of this thread, and looking back at the reactions I see now that I still have room to improve."Open letter" - instant turn off.
"Something to chew on" - self entitled ego.
Maybe it's because they paid good money for it?
Maybe it's like they bought a trailer to tow behind their car, end every few miles, when they're driving down the freeway, it disconnects and they have to go back to re-connect it. And sometimes, when they re-connect it, all the stuff they put in it has disappeared and they have to go all the way home and reload it. And the best part? Sometimes, when they're driving the car WITHOUT the trailer even being there, the car randomly stops working. That would tick people off, wouldn't it? After it happened a few times you'd probably get frustrated and complain to the trailer manufacturer about it.
You should try it, it has a certain quality. I'm talking about the pen & paper version of course.I didn't know writing letters was still a thing nowadays. Seems like everyone here looooooooves writing letters.
The actual post contents were fine, and was littlered with some good ideas. It was only the premise of an open-letter that bothered me personally (all of them on the forum seem to come across as entitled). You have some good ideas - tighter integration of the modules is 100% needed, to give the illusion of them being all interconnected, rather than hastily bolted on. To that I fully concur.I'm sorry, I was trying to be polite and am used to a nowadays rather old fashioned conversation style, be it spoken or written form. I agree - in the land of the digital, if you wish to stand out and come across as heart felt and genuine, I find a hand written letter does the job. (Obviously, it has to be appropriate - an SMS "are you coming over later" that is replied with a hand written note of "yes" would be kind of weirdYou should try it, it has a certain quality. I was curious on the thought process at frontier and what others think in that regard. As I wrote I tried to point out obvious missed opportunities that, from my limited experience are way cheaper than investing in the next big module, for which I can't find an explanation. I don't think for a second that there are only idiots at Frontier with no passion and only fast money in mind. Or am I arguing from a position of hindsight fallacy? The actual post contents were fine, and was littlered with some good ideas. Your English is fine - to a native, sure, some odd choice of words here and there, but on the whole, very readable. Give yourself some credit![]()
Muffled response ... ;-)I don't think for a second that there are only idiots at Frontier with no passion and only fast money in mind.

Dave tweeted a great pic of a new Mars craterSounds like Twitter.
I liked the Lego comparison and there should be PP missions. Sandro left and stuff hasn't been filled out.I wrote that open letter fully aware that, like in any other forums, some forum clown moths will briefly settle on it gifting us with the usual oneliners. I even take some weird pride in triggering a fully new thread with the really not so new Open Letter Template. Still, it's rather frustrating and frankly quite a few responses are outright insulting. I'm not asking for someone to hold my hand now, I'm merely curious if this was the intention?
Anyway, initially I was curious whether the way I perceive the development of ED which I attempted to describe with my lego comparison holds any merit or am I missing something that would help me understand Fdev better, among other things. If anyone want to share thoughts on that then all the better, if conversations like that are unheard of at this place then at least let me bury my post with the residue of dignity most of you left it with.
There should be a rare shrubbery. Not just any rare shrubbery, but the rarest Raxxla rare. It will be a proper rare shrubbery, of the rarest rariety.
