This makes me feel like they didnt like the responses they got and that was the action they took lol

Forum polls were removed quite some time ago - and I don't think their removal was due to the furore surrounding ship transfer.. Frontier honoured the result of the official ship transfer poll. Since then we've had official Flash Topics on various subjects to allow Frontier to gauge sentiment.
