Anaconda Hull HP

Are all the Anacondas in the galaxy currently running around with Nerfed armor, just check your outfitting then look at your defence summary to see what i mean, only seems to effect Condas, no way of knowing which number the game is obeying so fdev need to get on and have a look see. :( eg 945 stock armor shows as 706 in summery.

I only have a cobra and an asp and they are normal so it's only appers to effect the anaconda, curious if the other two big ships are effected?

My Anaconda's (unengineered) stock lightweight alloys armour is showing 1,001 Armour health in the stats panel.

Thats wierd are u sure its not reinforced alloy or do you have any HRP's. also have a look in outfitting and see if that matches.

Got the same issue, had military hull on with heavy duty mod and showed 1827 (close to military hull unmodded by engineers) in the stat panel. In outfitting it shows the correct number, 2345. So I took off the military hull and checked default hull stat, 704. I guess I need to buy a new ship and transfer all my modules over.

I think it's a bug relating to the status screen. My armor is over 1000 according to outfitting but 700-something in the status screen. Probably the same problem as the role panel stating that a fully fueled SRV only has 45% fuel in the tank.

So it's a UI bug, which of them are bugged, outfitting or stat panel? Stat panel takes into account things like diminishing returns on shield resists and gives what appears a correct number, where does the stat panel collect the numbers from?

The stat panel is new, so Occam's Razor demands that it must be broken, given this game's track record for new things. My hull on the Outfitting screen is the same as it was prior to 2.2.03. Also, it doesn't happen to all ships. My Python's hull is reading correctly. Plus, for no obvious reason, random numbers on the status screen occasionally show up in red. No idea why and it doesn't stay the same. It's probably just as screwed up as the ruins are.

That's true, there are several stats that do not match with stats of the same item shown elsewhere. Such as SRV distance driven which in my case I would've gotten the achievement for 1000 miles on the xbox already, but I haven't. Total crew payouts, on the stat panel it says 68 mill or so. If I check the crew roster it will add up to over 76 million.

About the SRV, check your settings, it's possible that your settings are set to metric.....the achievement is 1000 miles, but your stats are kilometers!

Well, according to: http://elite-dangerous.wikia.com/wiki/Ships

Anaconda HP (Armour): 945 + Military Armour 250% = 2362.5

Corvette (Armour): 666 + Military Armour 250% = 1665

Cutter (Armour): 720 + Military Armour 250% = 1800

Anaconda gets the most out of Military Bulkheads (+250% Armour = HP) compared to the other two ships, so in theory can take more punishment. However, Corvette has slightly harder armour, and Cutter has better shields. All in all, though, they are, on paper at least, all fairly balanced - what the Anaconda lacks from the Corvette and Cutter, it makes up for in pure hull hit points, and has plenty of internals to make is just as deadly as either the Corvette or Cutter - though with the introduction of the new military slots, the Anaconda slightly loses its edge with just 1 compared the 2 the Corvette and Cutter enjoy, as it'll mean less module or shield protection.

In a nutshell:

Anaconda has 8 weapons of all varying types, 3x Large being the majority + 1x huge. Enjoys largest hit point pool. Good speed. Good maneuverability (for its size).

Cutter has 7 weapons - no small (better than Anaconda), but lacks 1x Large (Anaconda better) - most shield HP. Excellent speed - bad maneuverability.

Corvette has 7 weapons - only 1x large, has 2x huge, 2x small, 2x medium - least hull HP - arguably best maneuverability. Okay speed.

Maybe... How's your ship INTEGRITY? I'm not talking about your hull. You can see that in advanced maintenance.

Believe me I've checked, I always go into advanced maintenance every time before I change ships or been using the same ship for a while.

After much checking the Anaconda has a bug in the hull HP shown in the stat screen compared to actual outfitting data, it is always 25% down in the stat, the worry is that the game may be using this data if thats the case every anaconda is flying with 25% of its hull HP missing, bug reported a over week ago but no responce from frontier to confirm whether it's a real bug or just a stat display error so take care your anaconda may not be as tough as you think right now.

Interesting point, if anyone loses an anaconda you may have a case to get a refund because 25% of your hull may be missing..............
