After a personal meeting with Senator Patreus I was informed that Angeli Imperial had been awarded a 1.2Million credit contract to scout out the Blanco 1 Sector and look for human habitable worlds. I departed that same day in my Exploration Cobra on a mission to serve the Empire.

After leaving Empire space the day before via a visit to a few seedy bars in my old stomping ground of the Kats System i struck out further through uncharted space mapping systems on the way to the Blanco 1 Sector finding nothing but cold icy worlds, gas giants and scorched metal rich planets.

Today i arrived in the Blanco 1 Sector and started my search for an Earth like world in earnest. 1000LY from Wangal i thought my mission had been in vain as i was still yet to find anything more useful than potential terraforming candidates. Supplies were starting to run low i had failed in my endeavor....
Striking for home the ships computer plotted me a route direct to Wangal as opposed to the winding route i had traversed on the way out.
One system my computer had plotted was Blanco 1 Sector HD-Q B6-0. On jumping into the system i sent out a single ping expecting to find the usual lifeless frigid system i had come to find in that sector, barely paying attention anymore i noticed at the very last moment before jumping out there was an anomaly in the data! The 7th planet around the A star was somehow different to any of the other data i had gathered, i quickly plotted a course...

After spending the night in orbit around this still nameless world i completed the scanning of the system and set course for Wangal, arriving back in system after 45 FSD jumps and handing over my data to the Senator to complete the contract and collect the payment.

Wings will suit you: Bundeena, Elvis and I just did a quick trade tour with Wings - I got interdicted in my Asp by an NPC Python on the home stretch. I was getting pwned by its rail guns until Elvis jumped in to the rescue (with his T-7, no less) and got the Python's attention - then I was able to come back and give the Python a good (terminal) taste of _my_ rail guns!
this happened when I ducked off to the loo so count this as a warning to prospective wingmen. Was fun tho guys. Wangal Energy Partners are looking good.

As Elvis' heroics last night pointed out, being in a wing for trading can be safer. Just remember it can also be more profitable. "Being in a wing when trading will award wing members with a 5% bonus of trade dividend vouchers. So if the trader sells goods and makes 100K profit the wingmates will get 5K of vouchers as well. This is a bonus paid for by the station not out of the traders profits. You only need to be in the same system as the trader at the time they sell their goods to be awarded the vouchers". This works well for those in smaller ship who want to provide protection but earn some money as well.

Finally hit the magic million last night (yes, I know it's f'all by all your standards) - must say, was a bit of a grind to get there but an enjoyable one nonetheless. I think Frontier should make the game more accessible from the get-go. Now I need to start earning the big bickies to get the tenner.

Thanks all, didn't realise how lucky i was to find a little blue ball but it seems they are pretty rare outside of civilized space! And to think i'd actually given up looking and was heading home 
And even luckier to find it about 7hours before wings and that camera came out!

70% is the magic number however i think we can only be in one state at a time so Boom needs to end before civil war will trigger!
Heyo, been playing for quite a while and im just curious to know if you guys are still open to people joining? The wings update has kinda put me on the side since not having any one to ride along is putting me at a major disadvantage at the moment.

Outraged by the financial success of Wangal Energy Partners and their dominance in opinions polls, Revolutionary Wangal Values Party has launched a war of words to try and justify their position as controlling faction of the Wangal system.
An influx of imperial wealth and resources into the system had led observers to believe Angeli Imperial are unlikely to allow the situation to remain in the current status quo.
It appears the system is on the verge of not only a civil war but that the population, tired of treading water as in independent state are looking for new imperial governance and to become a powerhouse in the region.

So here it is gents and ladies, the beginning of our finest hour and the transition from smallest to ruling faction flipping the system to imperial.
One thing stands in our way, Boom. Sadly we are still in boom (great for trading terrible for wars) so until that clears i'm not sure when the war will begin.
Sharpen your guns, war is close....
(disclaimer: we are pretty strong so the war may be an instant victory due to faction strength but i hope they won't give up Nelder without a fight!)
