Was another interesting evening communicating with fellow Angeli via long range speak. I was heavily engaged bounty hunting at my favourite RES, but yes, I think we have a new fire in the belly.
We have also welcomed our first "Cadet" and the number of members I am bumping into in the stomping ground is increasing.
It was fun working out the "Screaming Eagles" quick response combat group.. and making the rushed pilgrimage 100LY up to help an Angeli who was having an issue with pirates... LOL they got a surprise!

Fellow Imperials,
As many of you are aware, the Angeli Imperial was entrusted to my control in December of last year. Since that time I have overseen major growth and incredible success. It has been my honour to lead you and work alongside you, in both peacetime and the inevitable wars that have come our way.
I have also appointed several talented and enthusiastic ’Generals’ to assist our cause. I want to take this opportunity to thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. I could not have achieved any of this without your support and understanding. I have asked some of you to assist in tasks that others would have shirked at, some of these tasks have involved putting yourself in the line of fire. You have my undying appreciation and thanks. I would be nothing without you.
As for the Commanders who have flown and fought under our command, your allegiance has been nothing short of heroic. You should all be very proud of what you have achieved. I know all of you have made sacrifices for the cause in one way or another, and for this I cannot stress enough how much that means to me.
To this end, and with the continued expansion of our control it is time for me to step aside and appoint a more appropriate leader. Those that have worked and flown alongside me know it is not my style, nor desire, to remain in an office conducting the more administrative, yet equally as important, day to day task of running a major faction that we are steadily becoming. This has been the case more recently and it has led to small, but sometimes costly mistakes. I hold my hand up to those and accept that they are my fault alone.
Today, 29th May 3301, will be my last day in ’the chair’. I will maintain a position of control, however, full oversight will be given to my successor, Argon Armrend. I had hoped Mr Armrend could be here for this, however, his ship was attacked by pirates approximately 200LY from Wangal. I can report he is safe and well but his ship had to stop for repairs. He will join up with us in the next day or two.
I am confident, on his arrival, you will serve him with the same vigour and zeal that you afforded me. He is the right man, at the right time, in the right place.

I for one am glad we shall be seeing more of you out in the field, away from the desk and constant board meetings that seemed to eat up the majority of your time.
I trust that if Armrend handles the corporate administration of Angeli Imperial as diligently as did his predecessor we shall be in fine hands going forward.
Is there any intel on the pirates that delayed his arrival? In the current political climate that has been plaguing the Empire and now the Federation I don't think we can rule out any possible conspiracy. On the other hand It is easy at the moment to see conspiracy and corporate espionage everywhere. They may have been no more than common pirates, but I feel an investigation of some sort should be made and thus gladly volunteer my services if called upon.

After a brief chat with the new CEO this morning, he tells me that there's not much left to search for. Unless you like interrogating debris.
This could be a job for CSI: Angeli Imperial! Surely one of our corporations have a scientific/forensics research department that could look in to the matter.
In fact we could turn the investigation into a Reality VR-Stream, the revenue potential could be enormous. In fact I can see a whole franchise of CSI VR-Streams, we could... Actually no, this is the Empire not the blasted Federation, disregard my advice.

I...ah...I'm paying for it today. We have been banned from drinking during operations. I hope some of that is comfort for the commanders affected.
