In the first zoo I opened after the update, I only had one animal species escaping, the European Fallow Deer. They would jump into the empty habitat next to theirs. Raising the barriers didn't do anything and neither did adding elephant grass, as I've had work in the past. I finally chose aquatic rock 09 and placed it against the fence, exterior side, actually in the empty habitat, and the jump point disappeared.
Yesterday I opened a zoo I expected issues with, since there are four habitats with Przewalski's Horses in them. LOL, I was right, chaos ensued and in addition to the horses, I suddenly had an escaping Eurasian Lynx. Raising the barrier height did work for the Lynx but not for the horses. Again, I went with placing the aquatic rock like I did with the deer, against the barrier, exterior side of the habitat. Again, it worked beautifully. Interestingly enough, placing one of those rocks would take care of eliminating multiple jump points. I ended up only having to place about five of that rock style to take care of all jump points that were indicated for all four habitats, much to my surprise. No more escapes and the zoo is once again peaceful, although there are some horses with a stomach ache from raiding bins.
I don't know if other style rocks might accomplish the same thing. The aquatic rock was the first I tried and since it worked, I didn't try any others. Jump points are the only issues I've seen so far, so if other types of escape points are also showing, I don't know if placing the rock will help or not. Could be worth a try, just to see.
