And who could blame you ?..,Lol but then again you could always turn off the achievment popups, friend notifications, gamerscore thingies etc and keep the big screen experience .
Not to mention you'd still have head tracking with Kinect. It works pretty well on Battlefield
I'll probably buy Elite for the XB1 when it comes out, play it for a bit on the big screen and controller - and likely get annoyed with any achievment popups, friend notifications, gamerscore thingies etc, and breathe a sigh of relief that I can go back to a multi screened, HOTAS, head tracking, zero notification and socially silent PC
They sell the CronusMax which you can program to "translate" your HOTUS inputs to controler inputs the X1 would recognize.

When they put up an Xbox section we should start a gamertag exchange thread. I'm assuming it'll be put up about a month or so before release. Start some groups also. I am thinking they'll set a release date somwhere in July-August so they can show off at E3 mid-June, what do yall think?

I'm really hoping for some 3rd party peripheral posh joystick options. Though from what I hear, people using the 360 controllers on their PC's are very happy with the game controller set up I'm gonna be a smugler mostly,I could probably benefit from making friends to ask to be escorts now the way the game is looking now. I'm in too! Given these responses, I think it should be rather clear that the us vs. them, pc vs. Xbox debates fail to reflect the real breadth of the XBox demographic.

Jane's Town is great, but my top 2 episodes are "Out of Gas" and "Objects in Space". I think ED owes at least one small part of their crowdfunding succes to Firefly and Serenity rekindling people's interest, and feeding imagination
Which, by the way, is why I can wait for walking around ships and planetary landings... Very little of Firefly was set on Serenity's bridge. Nevertheless, I love flying in ED.

If they are really clever, the controller will glow with the colour of the star in your local system
Probably 900p 30fps on the Xbone and 1080p 60fps on the PS4.
(I have neither console but from what I've been reading most games that are on both devices are better on the ps4)
My top two episodes are "Janes Town" and the finale episode for that moment where Jane had that almost epic moment that made me have to pause it till I could stop laughing. Actually it was still epic but just not what I was expecting. Only complaint I had with it was I wish they'd done something more with the "Men In Black."Thanks. I know, me too. Planetside and EVA and exploring my own ship will be awesome. Hell if they put in manual maitenence and useing maitanence to add hidden compartments that's a smuglers dream.

So? I cannot tell the difference between 720p to 1080p so what does it matter? Or can others really tell? I watched a tes where 3 of the same type moniter was used to blind test PS4/X1/PC side by side, and even though the X1 was 920p on the game and the PS4 was 1080p and PC was set up for 1080p all used PS4 controller. Guess what, no one could tell the difference they either admited to guessing or got which was which wrong. I understood it was because how X1 does something actually processed the image beyond it's 920p rating. I don't know techno-talk well so you sould look it up if you want a better explanation.
Why don't one of you create a thread in the dangerous group sub forum and do that now and get to know each other and play a few games together as a group over xbox live to get used to working together and see if you all mesh well.The worst thing that could happened is you start a group and you all hate each other.
Only MP game I have is Forza 5, my gamertag is same as my forum name. But I don't keep thread's updated good so someone else would probably be better to start a thread like that than me. Oh wait I have SniperElite3 & ACU too, never played MP in them though.
I could start it if the others insist, it just wouldn't be pretty.
