Might be a daft question that has already been answered elsewhere in the thread, but do the canisters even appear in Solo mode? Just thinking that the running around in Solo I've been doing hunting for the damn things might have been in vain...

The implication from the OP is you find it in open and you stay in open.

I tried out the mathmatician´s trail with no success. Even if they were now located, I would still go, as these are the only RARES in UNLIMITED supply. My ASP is already warmed up waiting to fly...

IMHO i think that is both a puzzle and random search:
The very small riddle part is about Reynhardt Intellisys, it's the only real clue that they gave us. Why this faction is collaborating?
The HUGE random part is that there should be another station out there, apart Leesti, with Reynhardt Intellisys faction present, that is selling the Card. We have to find it.
Found the faction, found the card.

Most of all, this search can entirely be done via the Galactic Map, I think...

For anyone following a tenuous link to Erwin Schrodinger, I've just completed a tour of Ocassi, HR17, LP 470-65, Lajurbal, and Gacrux to no avail.
The other systems with anything called Schrodinger in them are, as far as I know all outposts and I doubt FD would make getting these things inaccessible
for some players. Sigh, back to the drawing board.

Is it just for me or have you noticed how the News article for the competition on the ingame feed is no longer there. It's certainly not been in the last 4 or 5 systems I've been through.

With one competition FD have managed to keep the player base occupied for a weekend wild goose chase after not releasing juicy info in the newsletter, no dev update and whilst they work on the mac beta

Either enjoy the competition or let the people who are enjoying it enjoy it. So much random butt hurt in this thread derailing it from the people who are actually enjoying it.

I was looking for code clues and ended up trading in my Vulture for a Cobra with good jump range, total bollox on my part but fun and diverting from the norm. And it got me into open play for the first time...not the bloodbath i'd imagined haha. Well done to FD for adding something new to the mix
