[ANNOUNCEMENT] Win an Nvidia Geforce Titan Black in our in-game Scavenger Hunt

I was looking for code clues and ended up trading in my Vulture for a Cobra with good jump range, total bollox on my part but fun and diverting from the norm. And it got me into open play for the first time...not the bloodbath i'd imagined haha. Well done to FD for adding something new to the mix :D

Mhhmm Bloodbath..... more souls for Sagittarius ;)

Surely they'd get more marketing mileage out of spreading it out a bit?

I'm not into marketing or anything, but i imagine you'd want a promo or event to span only a relatively short amount of time (a weekend or so).

I think if you draw it out for too long, the actual advertisement value might "dilute", if that makes sense.

High attention over a restricted amount of time, rather than initially high and then fading attention over an extended period.

Again, just my unqualified opinion.

So, would you really want them to go about this as they're doing it. WITH NO HINTS, until one is discovered and then do it all again? Yeah no.

Well judging from the comments from the combined grey matter of the posters in this forum the "hints" - if that's what they are - are about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike.

In the original Galnet post, the first letter of each of the first four lines spelled out " TITA". Extrapolating from that, i got exactly nowhere :D

But Godel came up with the incompleteness theorem, therefore the clue is... N! Solved!

another idea, did the kepler scope from the nasa scan some special part of our galaxy/sky ?
(yup kepler scope , maybe a link to kepler nvidia architecture ?)
I tried HIP 116454, which I think was in the news for a while and the scope's most famous discovery. Just outposts, only 3 people on the visitor's list. Only checked one of the two outposts so far, the other one is 157k LS out. ;_;

Edit: made it to the other outpost. No commodities market.

It says they are in a starport but doesn't say they are in the commodities market. Has anyone been checking there whether there might be a new buy option in one of the black markets? That's pure speculation on my part.

edit : although it does say they are a new rare item, which would make you think they act just like any other rare so forget it.

Using various "first letter of" methods i ended up checking the Wimae system and also the Havernaku system ( witt dock ), both blanks. Ended up back in Leesti later after noticing i had a bond for Reynhardt Intellisys ( probably had it ages but never noticed it), cashed it, followed something on the noticeboard for them about "Card punchers / seekers" and also drew a blank. The fiancee has her friend visiting atm so i can't pursue anymore even-more-tenuous links till later.....as i said in a previous post, utter tripe on my part vis-a-vis deductive reasoning but it's more challenging than stomping NPCs in a Vulture

I checked black market, noticeboard and even repair in case they were being devious. No joy, but early days.

Anagram helper

I hope this is helpful for someone!

I made a list of most the names of every system and station in the game (approx 15,000 stations) and cross-checked them against the alphabetical characters in 'Reynhardt IntelliSys' removing all stations/systems that contained characters that did not occur.

I then removed entries that contained too many characters (like 2 'a's) and this resulted in a list of 225 words that fit within Reynhardt IntelliSys.

Hopefully this is handy for anyone trying to work out an anagram:

I dont think Frontier have given it that much thought. They put all five in the same station, it is only luck that someone who has only one friend has found it else the competition would be over.

What they should have done, which i find myself saying a lot with this game, is to put one in a mission, a few in different stations and then one in a weak signal source.

Once again, there's not only 5 available, it's the first 5 to be sold. You are also assuming that person actually has found one and that has already been discussed many times already in this thread.

That just reinforces my logic. If it was a true lottery they wanted and to engage more people, they should have spread out where they were generated.
