[ANNOUNCEMENT] Win an Nvidia Geforce Titan Black in our in-game Scavenger Hunt

Strange, if you type "contest" in the galaxy map search box it takes you to a system named Baltah'sine. Nothing in name or the station matches the word contest, no planets match nothing. Thought might of stumbled on something. Checked out the one station there though and nada.

Remember that the competition is not to find them - but to sell one.

So camp the destination station and start making some chaos!!!

:-D

One question I want answered is this: How much are these darn things worth? They are a rare commodity item so you still have to buy the darn things, right? What if you get to be the first guy to happenstance on the location of the elusive Nvidia Titan Black only to find out that just one of them will set you back 40 million credits? Wouldn't that be a buzz kill!

On a more serious note... how long will these things be around in-game after the contest is over? Will we still be able to buy/sell/trade them like any other rare commodity? At least for a while? And what kind of profit will they generate on delivery?

I have a feeling its over, for the last 2 days ive been carrying illegal goods because the station scans had stopped, Well I just logged in and was fined as I left a station for goods that I collected yesterday but could not sell due to no black market.

So did any of you find the nVidia Card thingy yet?

I was intrigued by this.
Due to the sheer size of the galaxy and number of of systems / stations, I don't have the time or patience to wait looking for it, so I wish the lucky finders all the best.
(I'll be waiting with my phillips screwdriver to raid your PC later...)

So did anyone out there find it yet?
No need to post "where", but obviously a screencap of the item in the Cargo bay, or on the buy-list of the station would probably help confirm your claim! ;)

By the way, seems obvious, but did anyone check the twelve Titans?

Oceanus and Tethys,
Hyperion and Theia,
Coeus and Phoebe,
Cronus and Rhea,
Mnemosyne, Themis,
Crius, Iapetus

Just because they have found one doesn't mean they can get it safely back to that station where they need to sell it.

Jump to Ededleen. SC to Godel Ring. Sell prototype. Sounds like an easy win to me. The only tricky part is finding it in the first place!

...SC uninterdicted past the hundreds of greedy pirates that fly around Ededleen system and are camped at Godel Ring?

My guess is that come day after tomorrow, a giant, yellow rubber duck will drop from SC at Godel Ring and start pecking away at the people parked outside.

This may have been asked in this thread somewhere already, but:
Can these be pirated? (Will the item drop on destruction)

If so, there would be no point for most people to go out and find the item. Just steal it off someone as they go and deliver it.
