And waaay outside populated space.

There are those rare eggs in Zaonce, I suppose.
The whole puzzle's far too fractal. I still think there must be some logic to it, but it's impossible to find solid threads because the GPU architecture has the same name as some space guy who made a telescope that was also named after him, then a future space telescope was named after THAT telescope, and he has a bunch of stations named after him, and he had a supernova named after him and he himself was probably named after another telescope. So that's one name.
We also have Godel, Titan, Reynhardt and all their friends, all of whom have doubtless created thousands of new and revolutionary telescopes which they all used to observe each other, and they all have 20 stations named after them, and if you connect them up on a star map you get a picture of Freddy Mercury drying a soggy ferret in a toaster, which is clearly a pointer to either the planet Mercury, the astronomer who named Mercury, Chef Mercury's world-famous recipe for Spinach & Ketchup Surprise or the telescope named after his culinary lunacy, which famously observed David Braben's wallet exploding in 2014.
That image they use on twitter for the competition, the one of the canister floating in an asteroid field, looks strangely like the Single Player Combat Demo arena. Maybe we have to pick it up in the Combat Demo and somehow transfer it over to online play xDD
Is that image a clue?
FD said:No it's not. That is illustrative.

Do they even know what GPU they are giving away yet? the Galnet article states the winners will receive a "commercial model as soon as they become available", Blacks have been available about a year now............
Plus FD stating the RRP is £900 also points towards the giveaway actually being for X's rather than blacks, as X's RRP is £900.
And with the fact that the whole thing is talking about "prototypes" again would point to the titan X, not black.
Is this a case of FD over-selling things or purposefully blurring the lines to try and entice more people to take part?
Or is it more like the tweet they sent to the band who made the music used on the advert where they even got the name of the song wrong?

I think it's mostly you overanalysing this waaaaay too much.![]()
Not sure if remembering correctly or if my mind is playing tricks on me, but I think I've encountered NPCs from "Reinhardt Industries" before. In Federation space somewhere, but having scoured systems I've previously visited, I can't see any mention of that faction.
Anyone else seen Reinhardt Industries? Maybe they (if they exist) produce for Reinhardt Intellisys?
