Horizons Another SCB question

This is not a gripe, whinge or moan question though before anyone thinks here we go again. Have the temps of them been altered? I cannot find anything regarding it in any update report. I know it's probably in one but I just can't find it, if someone can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated. Popping 1 sent my temps to 110%, fizzes and crackles and alarms going awooga all over the place made me wonder the other day was whether it had something to do with being in combat near a Star, then the same thing happened yesterday near a planet while I was waiting for a mission target to appear in the system he should have arrived in, and again on the surface taking out a turret. A clipper with A4 shield, two A0 boosters and it was down in moments, there was no time for the SCB to regenerate my failing shields as the alarms were going awooga awooga. I retreated a little bit bemused, waited for my shields to come back, went back only for the turret do the same and take me to 55% hull damage. Them turrets have some fair firepower.

Yes SCB heat has been tweaked. I believe the devs thoughts on this are you are supposed to choose if you want to take hull damage or module damage, not ignore damage completely.

Ok, thanks. 110% Temps!! lol, I may need to rethink my strategies then. Or maybe ship setup...or new ship, I do believe the FdL is better now the power has been improved

Well the FDL has been buffed in agility (thank god), a class 6 powerplant (no more power woes), and heat. It's a formidable ship now, but don't go thinking it's going to be easy fighting wings. This is a 1 on 1 killer, no matter the target. But throw in a couple of vipers, a courier, or *shudders* a vulture and things become much more intense.
In regards to it's heat, enjoy it now because I really doubt it will stay like that. IMO they overdid it with reducing heat. I can pretty much stay at a 4A fuel scoops max intake no problem and have never had overheating issues in combat with the new SCBs (though I believe class 4s got hit the least with the nerf bat).

In my view, the changes to SCB's and the heat damage to modules is too extreme. I hope it changes back to 1.4.

I fly a small ship, and don't want to change my internals by including heat exchangers.

Why do ED sell me factory fitted extras (SCB'S) which then cause damage to my ship?

As a Vulture pilot (so limited space wise).......... I like the changes, it was far to easy to pop a large SCB whenever you felt the need and carry on with the pew pew, now I have had to choose a lower spec one (lower heat/power) but that freed up some room for other things.

It just mean that you have to put more thought into your config and choose which way you want to fly/fight/run away.

I have no problem with the SCB changes, I have two 6A SCBs on my Anaconda, I created a fire group for the SCBs, one fire button for each.
The use: launch a heat sink, then the first SCB, wait 3 seconds then the 2nd SCB, works fine for me :)
