Do not give up your hope, let's hope for the bestno solution in sight.. because FDEV isn't capable.
Except paint jobs, CG, text based story and a proteus wave animation..

Well, yes and no. It strongly suggests that devs are overwhelmed with this issue and might need to invest effort to fix it. This of course factors into the larger discussion of "is the Cobra engine and its integration in E : D even capable of driving a state-of-the-art game in 2022" - what with the lighting issues (colors disappeared in space, only one global light source, etc.), the (lack of) planetary features ("molten ice cream surfaces", incapability of creating caves, etc.), the efficiency (LOD popping issues when flying low over terrain, inefficiency to render complex structures like fauna or crystalline structures which limits occurrences to isolated, single spots instead of large areas with many different plants), missing / starkly simplified hue in planets' thin atmospheres, ruining sunsets...REPORTED ON: MAY 20, 2021 9:36 PM
Let me check today’s date… AUGUST 19, 2022.
I think this says it all.
I am not saying we should stop asking for a fix (we have other people here on forums to do this for us).Well, yes and no. On the other hand, it's been demonstrated in the past that prioritisation can help - the "beigification" introduced in Horizons took about 3 years to fix, but was ultimately addressed. Given that lack of AA is the top most voted issue in the tracker, continuing to ask for feedback seems worth doing.
Agreed. They really made an impact with the (short-lived) approach of providing an update to the 10 most player-impacting issues every few weeks. It would be very desirable to have that initiative revived. All I tried saying in that post is that FDev either don't know how or don't have the time to fix it. And most importantly they stopped communicating once again - at least here on the official forums. No updates on issues and their progress.
It doesn't, especially for things like orbit lines or night-vision outlining. Supersampling is pretty much the only option but for most people it's not really practical if the resolution is already above 1920x1080.Or maybe you run at a very high resolution, don't know if that gets rid of it?
Does somebody have screenshots of this AA problem ?
Because i don't see any problem in fact
The toaster rack for the mail slot at stations, especially when brightly lit makes me dizzy.Does somebody have screenshots of this AA problem ?
