Any way to stop the game launching SteamVR

• I do have SteamVR installed on my machine (my son has a headset he sometimes connects).
• I haven't linked my ED account to Steam
• There is no headset connected to my machine

When I launch the game it starts SteamVR and complains that it can't find a headset.

Is there any way to stop this?

Have you tried adding /novr to the ED executable?
