Anyone else have problems with escaping animals since update/dlc?

I think this has something to do with climbables. I always have that lemur use the climbable and there goes the notification that he has escaped. After few seconds notification is gone.

I'm getting a LOT of escaped animals now. My warthog enclosure which I have bred over 100 warthogs in without issue is now suddenly escapable and I had to modify the rock barrier. But others, I'm just getting escaped animals for no apparent reason. Some animals are in the middle of their habitat. (Which is not fun when it's a TIGER and guests are running for their lives. I guess I have to give them a refund now...) This is much much worse then I have experienced before the patch. Also experienced a crash running the game for 20 minutes.
At this point I'm not surprised.
This game is a mess.

I started having some of these issues too now, with my lemurs. Only 2 escapes over like 10 hours of play, but both were pretty random and it's not the enclosure...that's fine and has been for like 40 game years prior to this update.

I'm also getting a lot more frequent "auto-boxing" of all of my critters than I was before the 1.1 update. It seems I can't do any construction anywhere in my zoo without 2 to 3 habitats having a handful of animals boxed. My current zoo is nothing but primates and apes (plus a red panda hab), so they are all climbers....no animals in this zoo aren't though.

This has been happening to me today as well - macaques and red pandas. It happened three times in a row, and while I was willing to accept that it could have been "improvements" to the animal behavior, each time the animals were immediately boxed rather than give me the option to box for $1000 or call a vet - which suggests to me the escaping/boxing was due to some underlying software behavior and not intended normal game play -- could be wrong?
The weird thing was after this happened three times right in a row I started hemorrhaging money - over $100k in revenue across two years. I even sped one of the years up triple time to watch how quickly the "refunds for escaped animal" were skyrocketing. During this triple time speed - one full zoo year - I had no animals escape and yet lost $50k+. Am I to believe that it took nearly two game years for people to leave the park, thus triggering the escaped animal refund? I worry that if I continue to let time pass I'll keep losing massive amounts of revenue.

Does anyone know when the escaped animal refund is triggered? Is it when they leave the park? As soon as the escape occurs? Does it last for the duration of the escape? Or does it hit when the visitor physically leaves the zoo?

I quit after I sped the time for a year and loss over $50k in refunds - my zoo is well established and I have a cushion but I couldn't stand to watch it dwindle without understanding further how to manage it --- I'm hoping there is a zoo management tip anyone might know and this isn't a bug??

I've lost over 95k in refunds after <5 minutes of play... I cannot even open up my zoo, for fear of hemorrhaging funds.

What a bummer, I just downloaded the new DLC, too!
