Anyone found deep space regions with signal sources?

Another wreckage found.

Dont remember what system, but now im in "BYUA EUQ DF-A E21". (aprox 5700ly form Sol)

And this Picture is taken only one jump away form where i am now.

Excellent work commanders! Two more for the list. Keep them coming! :)

I like the idea of logging the far out wrecks and signals, I haven't seen any recently and I've been flying round in circles about 13 - 14 Kylies out from home.

With any luck the collected data will start to reveal something interesting over time. I'll keep gathering it in the meantime.

I suspect to begin with it'll cluster around common corridors between places of interest, but even so it might show higher concentrations at particular points along those routes. Even that could be useful to those wishing to farm large data caches.

...and if all those high concentration points were relatively near to, or lined up with, some particular set of systems that might be interesting too...

My geography is awful so I can't tell if this is near the ones you have or not.
I got a wreckage at COL 69 Sector NI-S D4-3 and another at COL 69 Sector DH-K C9-2
Both were white ships FWIW:

Hmm. Clippers aswell.

Lots of Clippers tent to get destroyed alot. Im not one for conspiracy's. But this is curious. I only found 2 ASP's. all the other wreckages were clippers.

I just found this in the raptr directory too. So another wreckage at OUTOTZ ZD-Z B55-0. This was my first salvageable wreck which why I grabbed the 30 sec vid (this was before I discovered in game screenshots!)
The second image shows some kind of vapour trail. I didn't follow it as I didn't want to miss out on the salvage - dumb in hindsight. I haven't seen a trail like this since. It could be my own I guess as I did a 180 - do we drop a trail as we exit super cruise?

another wreckage at Horeshead Dark Region BR-U C3-11

Different ship type this time. more red and looks like it was quite big given the number or pieces

I am now on the other side of Sag A, some 30 kly away from Sol. The last wreck I've seen was at some 9,000 ly away from the bubble, so I suspect 10,000 ly is the cutoff. I don't think anyone reported anything past 10k.

I just found Icarus!
Horsehead Dark Region EM-U C3-9. I circumnavigated the sun but could not get to the wreckage, though I did nearly join it!Screenshot_0103.jpg

Yes indeed :D

Great work! Thanks for the reports - I'll add these to the list.

Not yet, no. The furthest report I've seen so far is just over 9000 LY from Sol..

So, if you happen to find anything out in the far reaches it'll be a significant find! :)

By the way, you don't happen to be near the BLEIA permit zone do you? If it's nearby-ish, then a quick post-1.4 sweep would be really interesting. Don't worry about it if it's too far out from where you're headed though.

Found 2 signal sources relatively close to each other (a few jumps). And it's the first time a saw wreckage not near a star but close to a planet (double water world) and it was a Large survey data cache.

First one: Lysoosms aj-e b1-1 7385ly away (-3210:618:6650)
2015-11-06_00010.jpg

Second: Byua eurk uv-h b54-1 7304 ly away (large data, same coords, a few jumps from first)

Great, +virtual rep! Added to the list. A few thousand LY more and you might discover some past the 9k LY mark :)

Hi guys just some wreckage, I will post more if I find them. I'm on my way to other side of the galaxy so we can see if there are some wreckage to.

COL 240 Sector ED-L A 11-0 [4907,84LY from Sol]

BLEIA EORK DS-J B41-0 [ 6833,69LY from Sol - small one]

Another salvageable wreck 3.949 Ly from Sol, in the Smojue XH-I C23-13 sector. Contained a shredded Asp and a small survey data cache.

Edit: I expected something more spectacular so I filmed the whole encounter, just in case of Thargoids...
