Newcomer / Intro Anyway to stop people from jumping?

Half my kills leap away with small % of health... how do I avoid that :/

Target and destroy their FSD.

I keep listing that as target but it doesn't seem to ever kill it in time

I tend to aim for the powerplant as my subsystem of choice. IF your not doing enough damage to it, then either your trying to shoot it from the wrong side, or you need bigger guns, or more guns, or both.......
