I realy realy hope they do something in this update about the long time it takes to scan for locations on planets.
Thanks for the update Will. I like the sound of virtually all of that, really looking forward to seeing it.
However... We have an issue...
It is not the loop of shame!!! Even if you approach a planet at full speed and loop around it, it is faster than approaching in the blue zone!
That aside, sounding great![]()
Im aware, thats why my comment has quotes. I was criticizing the person that comment was replying to.I think that was a reductio ad absurdum argument because I can tell you, it's possible to become a master in chess without throwing away your life, in fact, Emmanuel Lasker was the longest reigning world chess champion yet he had a doctoral degree in mathematics, that doesn't fit "the basement-dwelling teens and manchilds with little or no real world responsibilities." criteria and let me tell you, becoming a world chess champion demands far more time investment than most (or maybe all players) have invested in ED.
It's time to get one myself I guess![]()
Wait...you could in system jump in 1984Oh my..very nice indeed. Now all we need is the original In system Jump from the original games, removing the need for hour or two hour long supercruises.
And thrustersAh yes, I, too, have tried to repair my FSD while in SC...
Thanks for the update Will, that's more than I expected!
But please consider making the new modules standard ship functionality that we can enable / disable in the right hand panel.
I guess the only way would be to have a second account and start from scratch. I wonder if the systems for the rest of us will be visible but permit locked?I'm interested to know where these "beginner" systems are and if they're in any way accessible by pilots like me that have reached elite.
Only if you can do it right. But it is useful to throw off pursuers even if it takes longer.
Who says anything about needing one?
....but you will no longer have to worry about doing a loop of shame!
