Fair enough, can't help you there. I have the two HOTAS parts at either end of a very old Compaq 101 keyboard with room for the mouse pad to sit right in front of the joystick so it's a pretty close fumble to find in the dark (even without any hair on it, lol) and the mouse wheel click is bound to my head look.
With only one pinkie 'shift' trigger on the X52, choice is disappointingly limited.
Funny story, my first HOTAS, a T-Flight X had 4 'shift' buttons and could do pretty much everything without the need to take your hands off the controls at all. Alas, it broke and I'd upgraded before the old one was replaced under warranty. The new one has more buttons, but they're annoyingly on the base.
Nothing worse than having to let go of the throttle to deploy landing gear, weapons, cargo scoop, select next target en-route, engage hyperspace, open either of the maps, engage silent running, blah, blah...
In short, the X52 Pro is a dud, and will be going back under warranty yet again.
