Yep. And discussions about "how to hack CQC and do not get noticed"...

Personally I am at a point when I just accept it. Frontier does not care, while advertising $100K competition match, other players do not care enough to make Frontier do anything about it, Why waste time?

BTW Judging by number of hits on some hacking sites there should be at least 50,000 players in the main game who hacked it... Realistically Frontier has not much choice but to ignore the problem.

They match undetected cheaters against beginners, because undetected cheaters are also beginners themselves. As soon as they use those cheats to get higher rank, they end up against people who know what the capabilities of a ship are and report them - and so you don't see non-beginner cheaters at all...

Today I met 45 rank "lazy" hacker with k/d and win/loss ratio ~0.3. He was on leaderboard, but was not visible in game, his stats was always 0 kills\assists\deaths. Bad luck, he was in my team for 5 matches, really frustrating. I think he farms CQC rank, because you get xp for winning and getting 0 deaths. Reported him.

Add: Met him again. 187805 exp, 244 wins, 419 kills.

I don't think this is necessarily evidence of foul play. There is a bug that causes people to get stuck at the loading screen and unable to enter a match; this can happen for several consecutive matches.

There's also a bug where not everyone in the game is correctly networked together. I've had games where some phantom I never saw won the match, and other games where I *was* the phantom (the leaderboard shows 6-7 people but I only ever see 1-2 of them, sometimes shooting and being shot at by ships invisible to me).

Huh, I finally found a real cheater. Quite the novelty, but annoying! Just waiting on the video proof to finish uploading so I can include it in the official report.

Just dumb cheater (very obvious one). There are plenty of cheaters among "top players" in CQC... ;)

On a related subject, CR.. what is the point? I can see who is hacking and who is not. I know, FD does not care much, but just in case - next time you see me - better leave or disable your hacks (or get reported). Same goes for other pseudo-aces ;)

I will disable all the same hacks you are running. Aka, none since I am not running any.

I don't know if I should be upset or flattered that you think I am cheating. Or if you are making a joke. But just to be clear, I don't cheat in any way shape or form, why would I?

Please don't be so angry, dutchy2000 (and kossack). I had problem with you (dutchy2000) yesterday or 2 days ago. You crashed into asteroid, your shields had 0 rings (like 1%). I was firing cannons for 10 seconds without any result, so I let you fly away. But I was able to take down your shields on the next encounter. Afair, I had 5 matches with you and I had no more problems with your shields. Also I had problems with AlikCZ shields too like a month ago, and after viewing this forum I was not alone. Yesterday I was firing at someone's 30% shieldless hull without any result, 20 seconds later I managed to kill him. In all that cases I saw ships flying smoothly without any "jumps". Most of these problems go away in 10-20 seconds. Sometimes I feel that I am dying too fast (instantly), sometimes I am able to survive under 3 players' lasers. Seems that there are some temporary and tricky network problems. It's very bad that such problems make people angry and upset.

Anyone who's ever beaten Kossack at a match is a "hacker" as far as I can tell. Dude seems to have a pretty high opinion of himself. I still haven't seen any hackers, and I'm rapidly approaching 1000 matches. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Actually Dutchy, I don't think Kossack meant to be calling you a cheater, although at first I read it the same way until I looked more carefully.

I think Kossack was simply addressing you, then referring to "he" meaning the cheater we were talking about before. Just a simple ambiguous grammar error. :)

I have no anger towards anyone to be honest. Not sure what you were seeing toto, but on my end you were shooting me no problem. Almost all so called cheating is most likely some kind of networking issue. But sometimes it is so blatant like with the seafood guy there is no denying it. I sort of feel sorry for that guy that he needs to resort to hacking to win games.

Anyway, not upset or angry, just making sure everyone knows I don't cheat period.
