Moderators and staff are regularly watching the forums. If you believe you have seen an issue (Such as rule breaking or harassment) that needs our attention please use the 'Report' option. This function is for issues on the forums and not to highlight suggestions or feedback threads which are regularly looked at by our developers if they are posted in the correct forum.

Would be nice if mods could just give a quick heads up if problems and other things are forwarded to the devs? Like ideas etc.

Or some problems like my light issue .p or the big suggestion lists I made.

The staff replies, update notes and all the additions coming in update 1.1.0 next week should make it pretty clear that suggestions, feedback and issues are all raised to the developers to be viewed ;)

That's not really what a forum mod would normally be responsible for. Regarding bug fixes, the issue tracker is the best place to see if an issue is being confirmed, fixed, closed, etc.

As for suggestions, it's clear that the devs are taking feedback into consideration for their updates (such as what's coming next week). Naturally, not every idea can be done or even be seriously considered (due to it not fitting with the overall design of the game, what the engine can or can't do, or other factors). You can try using the Staff/Developer Posts link up at the top to see where they might be chiming in.

Well, not everything gets noticed. I left a note a week ago about the staff/dev posts section being messed up, and it still is. It's listing by descending date of thread instead of post, which means long-running threads get buried, regardless of relevance.

They lie in wait like wolves, the smell of blood in their nostrils.

Waiting. Waiting. Interminably waiting.

Its not realistic to expect a moderator or dev to respond to every single forum post and suggestion. Especially since peeps make posts about the same things over and over again.

They respond to the ones that matter and that they have an answer to. Asking any more than that is madness.

I mean, if you take even just a moment or two to look at the forum you will see dev responses on a large number of posts. More than I would expect. They are doing a fantastic job! :)

Also, just to make things absolutely clear, mods are volunteers and only police the forum rules, not the development of the game. :)
So this really is about devs and they did state several times that they read as much of the forum as they can and there's no reason not the believe them.

You're using the term "fixed" loosely here. They may want it to be sorted the way it is, regardless of your perception on what would be better. I want to have the newest things staff/devs have posted at the top, regardless of when random-internet-person has added to the thread, but I can see the counter opinion's perspective too.

Fortunately for both of us, there is a "filter" button in the upper right of each forum and we can use it to sort by whichever we prefer. Just set the sorting option in the filter without actually typing in anything to filter by and the whole section will sort the way you want it to. For me, it is defaulting to what you say it "should" be though.
