Are we able to name the animals?

The NC Zoo’s 28-yr old grizzly Yepani passed away, and I’d like to name a grizzly in-game after him. I know the individual animals are identifiable by appearance, but I didn’t know if there was a formal in-game way of naming the animals.

Yes we can.
They come with their own name that is based on the location they're from but we can rename them.

Yep you can name them.. which brings up the questions on why were you not allowed to name the goats in Jurassic World Evolution? I mean, kids can grow attached to the animals they give names to in this game as well.
