Are we getting merits for Biological Data?

it was bio data, plants I got off of exploration of non inhabitat worlds. Yes, I handed it into an allied reinforcing system.
Short version - yes but there's a cut off. There's still some investigation as to how much a system has to be worth, but it's above 40 million. Less than that value, you get nothing.
If FDev could correct the value we need in the game under the task information so we know what it we're looking for, that would be lovely.

Just bio. For UC data I've turned in data from a single probed ELW and that was enough to register for merits.
Bio paid me merits last time I went out, but it wasn't really much - and I didn't get a popup about it either. I had to check my total before and after to see that there was a change.

My conclusions:
- exobiology is working in PP2.0 (though maybe not all the time for assignments)
- don't hand in at Power HQ
- no merits visible on screen (have to check via PP UI before and after)
- no merits for systems worth less than around 40m (38m ish in fact).
- if you're doing it for merits, it's extremely inefficient even the cartographic data pays better per time spent, as does almost any other way of earning merits
'Handed in" meaning you disembarked and walked to a Vista Genomics Lab right?
