Now this may seem off-topic, it isn't. I am looking at the need for more focus on a reasonable size of players that are disabled. Thare seem to be a higher number than I thought.

Three (3) of the four (4) voices in my head say 'maybe'.

Been disabled since 1994 - don't 'really' bother game play.

I've been disabled since 2001 but don't need help playing it, just have to do it in short sessions.

I'm a paraplegic. I cant use pedals. Thats ok though because the flight sticks currently available are great anyway.

I'm colorblind, and I usually don't consider it a disability but it has some effect on gameplay when I have to tell if a ship is friendly or enemy by color on the radar (red or green, or yellow maybe?)

Yes, I'm visually impaired, but I can usually manage to play OK. You learn to see what you know is there, even if you can't see it clearly. That probably sounds odd, but other people with visual problems will know what I mean :)

yeah, but not really

Speech disorder but doesn't really affect game play, can be a royal pain in voice comms.

Of course now I see stuff like Voice Attack and I get a little bummed, but I know things could be a lot worse.

Not disabled, just old and arthritic.

Using a HOTAS makes the game much easier for me, and my hands don't ache like they do after using a KB for a couple of hours.

Valve typically have a colour blind option in their games and I think ED would benefit from having this. So many games use red and green for critical decision making but forget to make it accessible for everyone.

Arthritis in the hands - mostly affects game pad so console gaming is a real problem, I just play with a sub set of controls that avoids the manipulations that cause pain. To be honest the pace of ED and supercruise which many hate is wonderful for me because I can give my fingers a rest.

I have a disability but it's thankfully under control due to a shed load of medication. Without the medication, it would severely affect gameplay to the point where I wouldn't be able to play at all.

Chronic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis since 11 years of age (56), can still play but restricted due to pain/tiredness.
