ARGH!!!! All gates open ...

Was just on my second attempt at the Isla Pena Entertainment mission, and just after I released my new Rex the security division opened all gates in the park ... Rexy didn't kill anyone, but my Raptors and Indominus had a feast and I failed the mission again ...

I found the best way to sort this was to put fencing around the gates and simply delete the fence when you need to send a ranger in. Its a bit of busy work but id rather do that than handle the deaths and such
 
And twice now I've bred a new rex without taking the mission again first ... wish the missions would start over automatically ...
 
lol....ouch! I bet that really sucks. Might consider building your pens in such a way that you only have to close one or 2 gates instead of several to keep them from escaping directly into the public's walking area. I know thats not the prettiest or most space saving method and in a prebuilt park might not be much of an option. But anything you can do to help your cause might be worth it. After seing this post, Im going to take than into consideration when I get there.
 
I keep alternating between the three factions: I'll request a contract from Science, then Entertainment, then Security. I almost never experience sabotage that way.
 
yeah i keep having all the gates open as well, i now have double gates + actuall wall outside the area to block off the gates so there's no way of my 6 raptors and just about 60 other dinosaurs running about anymore, it was just too much lol

yeah same here. in my 85+ hrs of gameplay i experienced sabotage only 3 or 4 times. hehe try to balance the 3 contracts. if you notice in the management tab. it says the risk for sabotage by a certain department. also you can see the progress bar in the main UI. just don't lean to heavy on one dept you should be good to go. :)

Meh. I can deal with them by using the ACU. I focus on a single division and get max rep first because it will give me loyalty bonus which is really handy when starting from scratch. But I do accept other missions if they offer me extra missions and they are easy. I actively request for missions and try to have 3 missions simultaneously.

I've never been sabo'd (knock on wood) because I've got all 3 divisions licking my boots. Why tempt fate?
 
If you're really desperate you could simply delete sabotaged gates (and likewise wall-in fences while they're being attacked), but it's pretty much cheating and ruins the immersion.

Gates lead from front of creation lab to all connected pens and a gate out to the service road. This makes rangers getting in take only a little longer to do their tasks, but loose dinos on a gate sabotage also take long enough to run around on empty service road for ACU to tranq em before they find guests.

I’ve had power sabotages, but had my first gate sabotage just yesterday. Went back to my perfect tacano to unlock the new FK dino and was greeted with that. Luckily got all my guests into shelters but was tranqing everything left and right.... lost a few raptors until I found them miles away in my herbivore exhibit! My T. rex bolted across the street to the cerotopsid paddock and was causing a fit! All in all it was mildly entertaining to see what the Dino’s would do if given the chance.
