Newcomer / Intro Attacking ships while on Supercruise mode

Is there a special technique to attack a ship while we're supercruising?
Let's say, while travelling at 2c, I scan a ship on my radar and lock it on my screen. Can I approach it and engage in a battle by mutually ejecting supercruise?
Is there a certain device I can add to my ship to make that happen easier?

You need an FSD interdiction module on your ship to yank them out of SC. Without it, you can't make them drop out.

what you need to install on your ship is an interdiction tether, you use it to lock on to another ship in SC and pull them out into normal space.
