Awkward question that really needs an answer

It's mind boggling how can people turn a nice thing like a year of free updates and turn it into a bad thing and feel the need to be "compensated" for having stuff for free.

No. Babelfisch is correct. When we got the LEP (and I have one too) there were no guarantees other than all future updates and access would be automatically granted to us. So far that still holds true. As you will never be paid for it, however, because an LEP is not a company share, then that money is gone regardless. Unless they stop with paid content altogether, then you (we) are still receiving what we paid for. It’s a very simple arrangement. Stop over complicating things.

Indeed. Torches and pitchforks! I can't return the game for a refund because I've played 3000+ hours and they can prove it! I didn't enjoy a bit of it, though!

I had a "friend" who did that in a restaurant.... ate the meal, called the manager and complained the meal was dreadful and he wasn't paying.... the manager pointed out that my "friend" had still eaten the entire meal.... my "friend" said he had to because he needed to be sure the whole meal was "inedible"................................. we were thrown out of the restaurant (after paying).

I think we will hear about paid DLC after update 1 and in tune with update 2 and 3. I seem to remember Update 2 and 3 are the less impressive updates, so that would make sense to me. Update 4 is the next biggie. This is what I got fron Frontier XPO. I sort of that ithat was quite a good roadmap actually. we know update 1 is coming before the end of Match (Q1) from the same stream, so I am expecting an update roughly once a quarter, although by not announcing this FD have the ability to slip if a release is not going well. So from my point of view I have roadmap (check), know when update 1 is predicted to be finished by (check). The only bit that feels different this time to Season 1, is 3.0 beta seemed quite early this time round.

Following the logic of some in this thread, I have a DDF pledge, and another account with LEP - I am therefore entitled to double compensation compared to a lowly DDF member or even lower LEP owner!
