AXI missiles

I was told that human missiles against targoids, if you take them turrets behave like gimbals.
Is this true?
I know that turrel guns alone also behave like turrets.

Human missiles dont work against thargs
You need AX missiles or the Advanced missiles with special ax resynth ammo - which can get expensive

Also, iirc missile turrets work only in multicrew - but i have no idea if AX missiles or Advanced missiles have turreted variants

Probably translation difficulties.
When I wrote the human missiles against the Targoids, I was referring to the AX missiles.
A long time ago I thought that AX machine guns only work for the team, but then I found out that in single player they are also turrets.
And so I was told yesterday that the AX turret missiles behave gimbly if you are alone.
Is this true ?
