The money is really nice on the profit - or it was when I was able to even obtain the trade items. Now, I am spending more time scrounging for scraps to even get a full 240t of items. FCs are the bane of my existence with these types of CGs, even for those of us trying to get the end goal item out of it - a permit. Completely frustrating.
STELLA OK in HIP 8522
Power generators and Cobalt for sale all welcome

INARA shows Ore Terminal in HIP 9452 as the closest starport (39Ly) with a high supply of power generators (>40k). Quite a few others up to 60Ly as well. I ignored carriers, surface stations and outposts in the search. Still 2 jumps in a fully laden Cutter though.

And then it was: The commander who bought instead of cobalt Coltan😅

You do realise it was Fdev who moved the megaship, blocking access to the Mbooni permit in the first place right?
The permit was not offered from their megaship (it did not have an active mission board), it was offered from the stations in Qarato when they still had a presence in the system. That went away when they were retreated from the system.

Haven't been
True, but well, there are a LOT of carriers being used to transport goods - and for those of us that don't have a carrier and have limited resources to transport goods (240t cargo bay here) ... well I will frankly be lucky to even hit the 75% mark. I am one of the people that need the permit and trying to get it. I was also running a little bit of the combat bonds one which doing only a few CZs, was able to hit the 50%-mark last night (I'm sure it will drop soon, as I'm focusing on the trade).

There are a few carrier owners who would help you out if you do the loading/unloading. On the other hand, there's still more than ample Cobalt to be had (~5 million tons) at bottom price at Aonikenk, 40 and a bit ly off Wakanda Wandrama.
If you don't want to go that far and are in it for the permit (or the story, or whatever), I have a carrier loaded with 12800 tons of Cobalt a short jump over at Burigpa B (Wandrama was filled up yesterday). As I'm only in it for the money (haven't even signed up for the CG and won't), I'll log in and set it for sale at 30k/ton (or whatever, at or slightly below the CG price, so you won't make a loss - but also won't gain much. Ferengi rules.). Give me 20 minutes, I'll update here (also in case I can get a reasonable slot in Wandrama).
Carrier is R. Buckminster Fuller QFF-OTY.

Edit: Done. Carrier is open for business. 12,800 tons of Cobalt at 30,002 Cr/t at Burigpa B , roughly 10 ls from the jump point. I get the money, you get the permit 😁.

Day 3
Top 75%~ 2,309 to 4,703
So that's 4 cutter / T9 runs. just to avoid going to their home system for the permit after the CG...

" Glorious Prospect to offer the Mbooni permit from the T-Tauri system permanently. "
Tier 1 was reached so that mega ship now becomes a static asset never to leave the T-Tauri system ever again lol...
So they're gaining a combat mega ship and lost the civ build ...
Will the permit be permanent if the cargo succeeds or does combat also need to win for it to be permanent

Interesting question....
From the description, the Glorius Prospect in T-Tauri will be offering the permit on a permanent basis.
The outcome of the other two CGs will determine who will get the Wandrama system. For now.
I wish one of the Devs would get around to clarifying for all of us and we can all stop ripping eachother's heads off XD My guess is that the cargo one is the only one required

We have our answer. The perma permit is only mentioned on the cargo CG which has already succeeded

Salvation augmented weapons. That cost guardian mats each special, kill thargoids even quicker from planet based tech broker...
The Cyclops interceptors become even more useless and they allow even more people to kill more thargoids...
What do you mean by faster?
5 minutes?
