Hello fellow CMDRs... I have been away for a while and am now starting to get the hang of it again.
Last time I ventured out must have been 2014-15. We had no DSS, no FSS, not even landable planets. No AFMU or repair drones. Nothing. It was daunting.
I did go to Sag A* (and have nothing to prove it!) in the best the tech could offer at the time (I think it was a ASP explorer made as light as possible with an A rated FSD and that was it...). Took forever also to compute the route when in the center of the galaxy, so we used third party tools.
Oh, and exploration paid peanuts.
My question here is:
would this be a sufficient build to go explore for a while?
what am I missing? What should I be looking for?
Thanks for any advice you might want to throw this way.
