Yeah. We had a short war in LTT 2863 after expanding there. The issue is that when you are in a War state, you cannot gain influence anywhere else. So our inf was essentially frozen, or worse, could only go down in our other systems. This wiped out 8 days of effort in HR 2283, which really sucks as it's a large pop system.

Anyway, our inf should start to stabilize now. I noticed most concerning was Raurugba, where our inf dipped almost 20%. I don't THINK anyone is actively working against us, as it's more likely a Empire rep grinder or something.

So, we could use some help running missions in Raurugba for the BCats, or doing trade in/out of Endate or Jackson Hub (don't use the black market).

Also, same idea in HR 2283, although you can't trade there (helps other faction). Just run some BCat missions or turn in BCat only bounties. Both will help.

Note that we are also pending outbreak, which I think is unavoidable after a war/civil war. We're also in boom right now. Adv Meds are selling at 1000 above gal avg at Raurugba/Endate. Not sure about Priva/Dugan, but may be same story. May also want to look at Priva/Aitken, as I've seen them buying Med Diagnotsic for HIGH profits when this sort of thing happens.

And when the outbreak hits, meds will be HIGH profit items. You can get all kinds of meds, and Adv Meds, at Alano/Leestma.

Purchase point is up to you, as long as it's not HR 2283. I just threw out Alano because I knew they sold A Meds and they can be hard to find (most High Tech sell them I think).

Sell point can be any BCat owned starport/outpost/planetary base, but Raurugba needs the most influence help, so either Endate or Jackson Hub.

The two are not really connected (outbreak/influence needed), it's just that Raurugba needs the inf and outbreak will increase the margins on meds, so putting them together will help most, but isn't required. Any missions in Raurugba or HR 2283 for the BCats will also help. Any trade in HR 2283 will hurt us, so avoid that.

So, out of curiosity, I went ahead and pledged to Zemina Torval yesterday (PP tick is on Thursdays).

It took me about 10 min and 900,000 cr, and bam, now getting 15% bonus for all trade in her systems. Those include all of ours, except Priva, which I think is just outside her sphere.

If you do this now, it wont take effect for you until next Thursday, but here's one way to do it:

Pledge to her in the PP screen (sounds dirty, I know). Fly to one of her expansion prep targets, like Baltah'Sine/Baltha'Sine Station, and pick up 10 of her 'trade agreements' (under contacts). Fast track another 90 so you have 100 total...this is where you spend 900,000...you could also pick up 10 every 30 min for free, but I'd rather not wait. Goto Xuanduna/any station and turn them in. Done.

Next Thursday, you'll get at least 5% bonus on trade in her systems, and maybe more if she is ranked 1/2/3 in the standings. Currently, she's second, so the bonus is 15%. You'll only need to buy/transfer 50 'trade agreements' next week, and so on and so on.

But for 10 min of work, the benefit is nice. And they changed it in 2.2.03 so you will not get hassled for power play allegiance unless you are doing power play stuff (i.e. you have 'trade agreements' in your hold). This was the main reason I quit PP long ago, and the change is why I'm giving it another chance.

Ok, on today's tick, pending war was added to pending outbreak. I think what will happen is BCats will go into outbreak Monday, then war on Wed, which will end the outbreak. The war will be in HR 2283, as desired.

HR 2283:
If anyone could run some missions in HR 2283 for the BCats between now and Wed, that would be great. It's a huge population system, so it takes lots of missions to increase inf, but any help is appreciated. Please don't trade in/out of HR 2283. Once the war starts, it'll just be combat that helps.

Priva/Raurugba:
In good shape, but could use a few missions too, since war in 2283 will prevent our inf from going up elsewhere for the duration of the war. Trade in Priva at Dugan or Aitken will also help, plus with the outbreak coming, there will be many profitssss. Trade in Ruarugba at Endate or Jackson will also help and be profitable.

Other systems:
Ok and don't need any action.

War has begun in HR 2283. Please go there and work the CZ's for BCat war bonds if able.

Warning - Fed cap ship in High CZ near HR 2283 - 2.

Just go to the Low CZ near HR 2283 - 6, lots of ships there to kill and collect war bonds to support the BCats. Cash them in anywhere in HR 2283.

...aaaaannnndddd the CZ's have disappeared. This is a known bug for a long time, and will not be fixed for us or otherwise before the war ends Sat. So not even reporting it as a bug. Maybe they will respawn Feb 9 after the tick, who knows.

So plan B. If you still want to help in HR 2283, go to Priva or Raurugba at the nav beacon (no res in either system) and kill wanted ships (not bacon cat ships though). Turn in any bounties paid by the BCats in HR 2283.

It's up to Julissa Silver, aka the Imperabaconatrix, or perhaps Mouse if Julissa is not around.

If you'd like to help while waiting on them, go to HR 2283 CZ's (recommend the one at HR 2283 - 6) and choose to fight for the BCats, and get some war bonds for the BCats. Turn them in at HR 2283.

Or if CZ's are not your thing, go to Priva or Raurugba do some bounty hunting, and get some bounty vouchers paid by the BCats/Fed/Imp. Cash them in in Priva or Ruarugba. Only cash in vouchers paid by the BCats if you cash them in at HR 2283.

Right now, BCats are in War state, which is why only combat stuff helps right now.

Yeah, BCats need some war bonds in HR 2283. I turned in 8 M in war bonds and did 4 'kill x HR 2283 Life n Co' missions...we went up 0.7%. Not sure what to make of that. I'm going to keep working the CZ's, but I'm not sure if this will end well.

Nobody really "joins", you're just sort of around until, all of a sudden you realise you've been entirely absorbed into the collective.

There's no test or requirements to being a Bacon Cat. Take part in stuff, hang out, pretty soon it's just obvious that you are one or you aren't. Welcome to the terrible threat of terribleness (and bacon)!

All of this. There's also a private group of my own that basically nobody uses as Mobius' (blessed be his name) group is just better. However I actually DO have a Discord channel now... >_>
