Yeah i really hope they add themGreat idea
Looks like you have a solution.build a path that's exactly as wide as the door so they don't 'use the walls'.
I suspect adding object physics to guests would be a performance hit the game really can't afford right now. I get around it by not putting anything on a path that I don't want guests to walk through. Fortunately, guests are confined to the paths. If I want a fountain on a plaza I delete the bits of path below the fountain and just fill in the gaps with a floor piece or something. It works and I'd rather do that than have red barriers.
Hm, that would be a nice idea, to use the null barrier to make sure guests don't 'phase through walls'. I'm going to have to try that out. Still... it shouldn't even be an issue in my opinion. ;-)
Exactly, i tried that on release day. That is why i requested the Barriers from PlanCo because it would solve many visual problems, i just dont like my guests and workers walking through fountains and lampposts it takes away my visual enjoyment. Great to see so many others like to see it being ported over. Lets hope they will do it. The team is known to listen to ideas and implement them so lets hope fpr the bestNull barriers don't stop anything - guests, staff, animals - all walk right through them. The only purpose of these barriers is so that the game can detect a closed habitat when you want to use nature and construction objects to actually confine your animals. As a rule of thumb - pretty much every object stops animals and pretty much no objects stop people.
