FDev is missing a LOT of profitability and the players would gain a good deal of great gameplay IMMERrrrrrrSION, by allowing buildings on the available planets and moons, -
Im not asking for Atmospheric planets, -
Just using the gasless planets ingame now would work just as well and not cause a complete re-write of the game itself as SpaceLegs and atmosphere planets would.
Allow players to establish bases by listing the pre-rendered buildings as modules to purchase, as you would paint jobs, nameplates, etc. from the Frontier site used for the available items now offered.
The numbers will vary of course, but this could be a typical scenario: [where is it]
Planet \ Moon access for building permissions = 25 USD
Each building and landing pad purchased separately:
Basic Completed Base with 5 buildings (2S,2M,1L) - 3 pads (2S,1M,) = 25 USD
Each Extra Building Slot \ Landing Pad = 5
Small Pad = 5 USD
Med Pad = 10
Large Pad = 20
Various extra non - use buildings:
Inflatable = 5 USD
Small = 7.50
Med = 10
Large = 15
Tall = 20
Domed = 25
Defense Turrents (non active - 10 USD) \ ( active \ destructable - 20 )
Any type Scan Point = 10
- Each use of scan point = Bounties accrued are credited to the base owner
ADDITIONAL:
Use SRV to deliver commodities to the appropriate building at mission points - (Alter the same code used for scanning data points) -
Use SRV to deliver rescue missions at Spaceports - ( Escape Pods - Black Box ).
(if you have 10 units to deliver, that is 5 trips to THAT delivery point). - (Any mission over 10 units are charged a fee for delivery by Base Owner)
