Engineers Best mod for Prismatics (post latest update)

I know I know, this has been asked before. But I'm asking this question based on the potential upcoming engineer changes.

Specifically regarding G5 shield upgrades. I'm under the impression that G5 thermal resistant or reinforced tends to be a 'go to' mod for big shields?

However with my prismatics finally unlocked this morning, I'm looking over the new blueprints on the engineer blueprints thread, thinking that the new optimised/enhanced shields will be pretty good?

At G5 they will get:

• Reactor power draw reduction improved (20%-40% from 13-30%).
• Mass reduction doubled (16-40% from 8-20%).

Which means that the new optimised generators can potentially give a huge reduction in power draw and weight to these massive shields. Wondering whether people think it will be worth getting 2 sets, one 7A with G5 low power/optimised for PVE. And then a 7A with G5 thermal/reinforced for when I go into open?

i see no reason for putting enhanced low power shields on a combat ship even pve - in that case i'm positive you will be better off with either bi-weave (for RES/CZ), or a d-class reinforced (running that on my courier).

the only reason i see to get prismatics low power is for trader builds - AspE/Python/Conda can gain from freeing a bigger slot, while still having critical MJ.

I have A3 reinforced prismatics on my run about asp and it is running a little hot and heavy for its purpose so I was thinking I might try the enhanced low power option. Thatwas before you reminded me about the new blueprints.

And even so, I feel it's preferable to run thermal shields over low enhanced shields. More coverage for thermal attacks, and no mass increase.
