Best Way to get to Phekda?

Phekda is an Independent anarchy
the story says its a tourist trap
I would like to get there and am currently trying manual flight but i was wondering if anyone knew how to get there by gettinga permit issued?
I know there are others who are also in similar situations and that this has been discussed before but I was wondering, if anyone could hemp me out because I can't seem to find the info.

I'd hazard a guess it's much like getting access to Alioth, and you'll need to build up rep with one of the corporations in Phekda... was actually planning on starting to do that myself, as there are a couple of Phekda corps located outside that system, though I can't remember where I've seen them sorry.

How do I build up rep exactly? I have only seen one system with Phekda Society present and it was at 1% influence and offered no missions at any of the stations.

Has anyone actually made it into Phekda?

I found out in another thread that the places where the Phekda Society operate are Brizo, Ethgreze and Megrez. They only have 1% influence in all of these systems so missions are going to be very difficult to pick up from the bulletin boards. They don't even control any stations or outposts in any of theses locations so you can't even boost your rep by trading at one of them either.

Unless the devs adjust Phekda Society's influence then it will be a long time before anyone earns themselves a permit.

Thank you for the great tip. i really appreciate it. Here is a tip for you. You can take the missions from those factions, and go to Sigs (Unitdentified Signal Source) and every once in awhile you will meet a ship and it will give you an alternate mission to do for them. It back stabs the faction ou were orignially going to do the mission for an gives you rep with that faction. You can also fly there but its a distance, my best estimate of manual flight would be about 26hrs of actual time in game. I have not had alot of luck with this but I think its hard for a reason. Because no one else will be doing it. That makes those of us who work towards this goal very unique.

Manual flight won't get you to another star system or so I heard.

This is true.

Also in the threads about Lugh and Mikuun, the devs have mentioned there are some adjustments coming where very low influence factions will have a better (but still small?) chance of getting missions on the boards.

I am trying to get the Phekda permit, but currently have only ever seen one mission (checked every single station in Brizo, Ethegreze and Mergez).
Unfortuantly it was a combat mission and I only had a type 6 so could not even take it.

So unless the devs tweak the missions, then it is going to be very difficult to get Phekda rep.

The most promising option is betraying another factions missions, that probably would have more success than waiting for a "legit" mission to pop up.

I am going to spend 30min every play session checking all the stations in my Shiney new Viper.
I'll update if I find anything.

Its like the sirius one, so hard to get. Pick the neighbour system where they ahve the highest influence. Bigger chance of missions there.

I've been working towards a Phedka permit for a few weeks. Still only friendly with them and I do up to half a dozen missions for them daily. They keep teasing me with the permit cropping up in the 'available but unobtainable' missions on the BB. Good luck :D

I've been trying sporadically. Visiting each of the systems they have influence in. Now started bounty hunting in their nav point hoping to get some rep with them. Unfortunately they are stuck in 0%-1.5% in the three systems they operate in.

Hoping a upcoming patch will make it easier to influence them. It was mentioned as a bug where getting anywhere was super hard when they are so low in influence.

Finally received access to Phekda last night, even though it does not appear on the permit screen I can jump to the system which has been ticketed.

I mainly did the mission grind in Megreze when they turned up, it did take a very long time and it was often a case of 1 step forwards 2 steps back. My advice is not to take any other factions missions in Ethgreze, Megreze or Brizo, especially bounty hunting missions as they can negatively impact on your reputation.

I was the only visitor in the last 24 hours to the system and i can see why, shipyards in all stations do not have any ships for sale and outfitters in all but one station have nothing to equip (for a Cobra) I don't know if this is by design or a bug. Commodity wise there is not much going on except Slaves, all in all your may be better off going and doing something else.

Welcome. I got my pass a week or so ago. Currently in the shadows of Empire (*spits*) space but returning with a load of exploration data to sell at Phekda. If you see an Asp in the traffic report it's likely me. Seems to be few others with the permit as it's not the easiest to obtain.

What if you take missions for the ENEMIES/rivals of Phekda in those 1% systems and then abandon them? Your rep will go down with the controlling factions...does their influence begin to tank with abandoned missions?

That explains the tourist trap...

I am in Megrez right now. Have to wait out some Heat I have in Harma. So came back to help the Sobek Boys and the Phekda Society. Hopefully sometime this month I will get my permit. Wish me luck.

They now own a Station in Megrez
