Just tried, clearing the save seemed to have fixed it for me. Still getting black screen, but shortly after I was in my sidewinder.

I'm in and playing!

First impressions: WOW!!! it looks stunning and the new UI is awesome!

one little thing, is there a way of turning the blur effect off the cockpit? its making my old eyes hurt pretty bad but I don't want to stop playing!

The graphics still look washed out to me, but I do like the new UI. I agree that the blurriness might strain my eye though.

Agreed it doesn't 'seem' to do anything but look at your ship in the hangar before and then after the repair. You might have to get some more wear and tear first of course.:D

Thanks FDev you guys did some serious work the last few days. It is greatly appreciated. From a first look at Beta 2 Id say you haven't changed much.. Just about everything lol. Now go get some rest for a while, and We'll find all the bugs for you lol.

Hello all,

Just registered and wanted to say hi and ask a question.

I started playing in 1.06 and finally got my cobra... Now I have upgraded to 2.03 and am back to the sidewinder. Was this intended? I understand if so as it is still beta, but if not I really would love my ship back as I had just purchased the wire frame paint job :(

Thanks and it is great to be part of this was bitchin game!

2.03 working

Occasional 'Cannot connect to Server' drop-to-menu's (which I'll ticket once I have a handle on when it's happening), but otherwise seems to be working! At least I'm able to use the initial menu!!

Great job FDev and thanks you for your massive effort and dedication.

Joined the beta last week and 1.06 was nice enough.
2.03 seems a lot better. Framerate has improved noticeably on my 2 year old laptop(!)

Works brilliant for me in solo mode, haven't been able to get into a mp-session yet. Love all the new features, especially the new mission system and fancy new graphics.

Fantastic work gals and guys of FD, I'm loving it!! :)
