Patch Notes Update Beta 2.2 - Update 6

And RNGineer still remain....
And so does Power Play. Both seem like someone's pet design, which they thought sounded great on paper... And are then unwilling to admit that more than little tweaks are necessary to fix them in the real world. (Alternative explanation: FDev simply doesn't have the resources for big revamps of major game elements, so instead they leave somewhat-broken elements in the game.)

I know, no promises, no ETAs, but is there any indication when 2.2 will go live?
At the same time as what could have been called "Beta Update 7" ;-)

The basic design of engineers is not going to change, nor does it need to.
That depends upon whether you consider a "Casino gambling"-style UI to be a "basic design" or not :)

Yeah I was one of the 30% i am sure most of the 70% regrets voting for timed transfer that is why they whine about the price.

The only "whining" I see is from those who are still aggro that the majority won out in this discussion.

I agree that the spinning wheel needs to go-as calling in favours has made that random element all but redundant. I am cool with the rest of the UI, but really hope that future updates will allow material quality and repeat upgrades of the same ship to push the result in the Commanders' favour.

And thus, would lose their jobs, and the Power Play fiasco could be scuttled with a quick "shower scene" from "Dallas". :)

The choice between going back and revamping old game systems vs. continue to develop new features for the game. I believe new features takes priority, would you like an entire update be focused on revamps of PP and engineers? Or do you want multicrew and avatars instead?

Me personally? Yeah, I'd rather PP and Engineers be revamped/improved/revisited/balanced/etc. I couldn't care less about multicrew (in fact after watching SC streams I don't think I'll like it much at all, if it allows piracy and stowaways and such), and I also don't really care about avatars - if I had the option to turn off the NPC ones to save on performance, I would!

But, that is just *me personally*.

Still no mentioned fix for the Wing "Cannot connect to Matchmaking Server" error.

How many months will that be a problem? I'm up to 8 friends I've talked out of buying the game so far because of this. Shall I shoot for 9?
