I've had all my bug reports removed, assume that is to clear the decks on issues and only track new ones - makes good sense.
 
Michael - if we can drop off cargo that isn't then marked as stolen by the scooper - and since we have 6 way comms, does that mean that we have some way of grouping in game now, or is that only when in private group mode?

PS good job guys. Will miss testing this weekend but might be able to put some hours in on Monday. The best of luck with this release.
 
key changes

- AI miners: don't try to mine ice asteroids, you won't get anything out of them
DOH!


- When a player is successfully scanned by an authority ship, don't allow other authorities to interdict them until after the player next leaves supercruise
- Player reputation with police ship faction will affect the chance of interdiction
- Police and bounty hunters never interdict "clean" players
- In anarchy systems only, supercruising bounty hunters use global bounty to decide which percentage interdiction chance to use
- If allied (high reputation) with non-police faction, ships from that faction will never interdict you

3. It's Wolf-Rayet not Rayette. :)

4. We should be able to eject cargo and allow other players to pick it up without it being flagged as stolen "Jettison (Abandoned)" VERY COOL! Victory!

Lastly thanks to everyone on the team at FD for a great game and to all the Commanders for all their hard work testing the Alpha and Beta releases.:):D:p;):cool:
 
This would cause problems with balance because you would have better sight lines during battle, I honestly hope they never allow it. It would completely break the immersion of you flying a ship as well and would make it more 'gamey'.

But what about simple rear and side views without going 3rd person? I haven't seen anything about this yet ...

So the chat works with any of your friends and anyone in scanner range, although if they leave the range after joining the voice chat they stay in the list. You drop the cargo as non-stolen and anyone in the session can pick it up.

Mr. Brookes, just a suggestion.
Could the changelog be linked inside the launcher, like in many other games?
Just a cosmetical but comfortable feature, even for future updates.
Newer Players will find it with one click, instead of searching around in the Forums.

Did Wiki mention what gas mark you needed to bake them on or how you can "bake" a "simple geometric primitives" :).

Keep me honest here, you folks out there who are much better 3d modellers than I am, but I think what's happening here is that unbaked they include actual generated geometry, so more tris for the GPU to render but baked they are reduced to normal maps and displacement maps on the lower-res geometry so do not include any extra tris.
