Because a feature that would make sense is adding it to a dock where you can just pick it up, which was a requested feature.... instead you have to space-scoop it; seems like a lazy way around adding a feature.

So sorry for enjoying an added feature, even if it wasn't the one YOU wanted. My apologies. Maybe some of us don't want to leave the resource field to find a station, to transfer to another ship, just to head back to the resource zone....

It wasnt ignored Micheal posted about it a couple of pages ago, it should be better but alot more work to do.

It was answered earlier in the thread. I'm not posting a link, if you can't be bothered to read the thread then I can't be bothered going back to find it.

But the answer was basically it should help a lot but still work to do.

Yes, I posted that remark before your post and yes I did go to page 8 post 111 but never the less thank you for the info - much appreciated

Is this a joke? I can't see this happening very often.

You'd be surprised ;)

Also, being able to drop canisters is going to be great for cooperative mining operations.

Aww man, my download's at 95% but it's just not moving. Guess I'll have to call it a night and try again tomorrow :(

Mine's going so slowly I think it's actually sucking data back.

NPC are aggressive, and no pushovers.

Graphics seem cleaner, crisper.

20 seconds on 3.9 step backwards

No Rudder pedals
jerky graphics going to chango, which I never had before.
jerky super cruise, never had before.
Not happy

EDIT apologies for the rant about graphics being jerky, tried in solo mode all ok. must be the servers being hit hard in open play.
would like rudder pedals though.

OK, fair dos, I was probably a little harsh. But I had just waded through 23 odd pages and knew the answer so "ignored" was the wrong word to use.

Maybe future Change logs should start off with:-

Major issues

- Supercruise stuttering around planets: should be much improved but there is still work to do.
- etc

Would prevent this sort of thing

P.S. Never mentioned it before but kudos FD team, you've been hard at work I see :)

30 min after reset and I'm getting jumped by Cobras?

Are you guys serious? After accepting my first basic 3 ton local system cargo run after patching and noticing the wipe I figure for a change I will be on an even playing field online or even in the solo mode as everyone just started out, nope. First 2.3k reward puny cargo run I get interdicted TWICE! The first guy was just in a sidewinder like me so I figure no big deal and I take him out and claim the bounty on my next stop. Before I can even get to my destination I get interdicted again this time it is a Cobra Mk. III and he literally takes me down to 13% before I can jump away. By the way I was less than 3kMm away so was just about to come out of hyperspace when the Cobra nearly killed me. I figure I'm lucky to just have a cheap repair bill on the free ship and this is when I get REAL angry to the point of regretting even joining the closed beta this late or at all, the total? Over 19k to fix a bloody bone stock Sidewinder with zero upgrades and 87% hull damage done to me. What are the devs trying to do to this games economy? When I started the beta 3 days ago when I lost a very upgraded Sidewinder it was only about 5k to fully replace the ship and over 50k in upgrades. When I lost my first Eagle it was only about 9k to fully replace a 150k investment. This seems VERY crazy out of proportion to just "fix" or repair the starter ship gang. Until this is addressed I am stuck in the starting system after barley making my delivery and currently have less than 6k after the two cargo missions. With nearly a 20k repair bill ahead of me a I may just wait till December to start trying to play again as there is no current way to with this update.

Good luck trying to survive in this place...

Damage is more real; can be fatal. Died some jumps after a fight due to damage. FSD packed in. Shutting down non-essential systems couldn't fix it. Had to self destruct or wait for oxygen to deplete. Awesome!

I like 3.9 it a lot, but i dont understand, why would they separate the jump keys?

yes I said in a different post make sure you reapply j key for FSD. I think because of complaints. It used to be separate. I went for J & H.

This 3.9 is a transitional period for stabilisation and tyre-kicking.... 1-2 days of bug-hunting and mucking about.

Please report via ticketing system... and don't take problems to heart. :)
