Gamma wipe ok but possible release Wipe don´t makes sense, so far i read i mean if there´s another wipe to release the gamma wipe would be completely unnecessary. So far i heard the gamma should be some kind of "light head start" for alpha and beta player before it´s goes official released, i would like have an official answer of this to get clear.

I haven´t played for days because of the gamma wipe that is near so i don´t lose not so much, okay i dont loose an anaconda and millions of credits which is a real heavy loss but i will miss my Viper and that bit of money i have.

That actually is an offline mode so FD already delivered it, eh? :)

nice updates. I really timed the birth of my second quite poorly....

Sounds like a great list of changes, though I'm missing wings. None the less, some very interesting stuff in there!

I might come across as a -bag now, but...no new ships? Or will we see added content to Gamma-release as well, perhaps?

EDIT: nevermind, just saw on another post that the Orca and Python actually have been added...

Note I am replying as a user (i.e. international mod hat off) and the below is based on the information I got from the newsletters and public forums. I.e. I have no "insider knowdledge"!

There is going to be a wipe on Beta 3.9 > Gamma and also a possible wipe on Gamma > Release.

Gamma was certainly not supposed to be "some kind of light head start". It's supposed to be a pre-release "preview" version of the game so that it's pretty much complete content-wise, which gives FD the chance to squash as many bugs as possible for the release.

My understanding is that because there was not supposed to be much (if any at all) of a new content added for the Release, FD thought that the wipe on Gamma > Release won't be necessary. According to Michael this is not the case any more and due to some internal changes the wipe on Gamma > Release may still be necessary. As far as I am aware, FDEV are discussing this and will confirm soon (TM) if this the Gamma > Release wipe will actually happen.

This is the situation as I understand it.

Well after reading this thread, it seems that the game has made a great leap forward. The player feedback has been very positive on the whole. ED confirms that it is in a very good way. It will certainly be a phenomenal game and with the success which goes with

:)

VOICE COMM - After accepting the voice call, the ringer sound does not stop. All my friends have the same problem.
