going from hotas+pedal setup to playing with keyboard and mouse or an xbox controller is kinda like going from mouse+keyboard controls in an FPS like Quake to playing with an NES controller. Yes it's possible, but it's... really frustrating. Rather just wait until it's fixed.

One word from an FDEV saying either, "We are working on a fix to the controller issue that should be in a patch later today", or "We are working on a fix but it is unlikely to make it into a B3.9 update and will be fixed for gamma." That would appease me either way. Just not know what's going on behind closed doors is not helping relations as evident by the massive outcrying about this on the forums. Why is it so hard for them to throw us a bone once in awhile?

Here's hoping they haven't got a row of HOTAS machines set up at the launch party - we could expect a fix pretty quickly if there is....

Doesn't that rather defeat the point of making that change? It's just going to mean that players about to lose the interdiction minigame will throttle down instead, and can then jump away quickly with impunity.
I completely agree with tresch, when you are used to play flight sims like DCS with an HOTAS setup + PEDALS there is no going back it would feel like playing the drum-kit with the sticks only.
I will wait for a patch that can recognize correctly all the bindings for 3 separate devices.
The previous implementation for the Logitech G940 was almost perfect even if it was missing the Force feedback which by the way was perfectly programmed on Strike Suit Zero of Born Ready Games.
Send them a mail and ask them how it's done ; ) and I almost forgot you guys at Frontier are brilliant and even if I cannot play now I love you anyway.

BUG in 3.9.1:
Requested docking at Chango. Granted 36. I came in to land and the scanner did not change to docking scanner. I got a pad loitering warning over something that was not a pad.
I supercruised out and back in, requested, and granted pad 4. Attempted to land, and no go - same as before. As I was leaving, the entire station flipped 180 on me (so I was looking at the back/antennae instead of the letterbox opening. A split second later, it flipped back again and I got out ASAP.
I logged out and am going to try docking again right now... got 21 and could dock.

Updated and game still does not recognise more than two peripherals... My x-55 useless, Seriously i don't understand anything.
