News Beyond - Chapter Four - Beta is live!
I just launch the launcher from steam and slide down to beta horizon and its stuck Preparing for update for a few minutes now any ideas ?
I cannot even close the launcher because of update in progress? Every time when is an update is something wrong with that launcher on my end. (Windows 10 64bit pro)

Wait some more, it did the same thing to me.
Wow, i've did it. I've crashed the Beta game and can't get back in 
Entered Merope in open.....after endless hyperspace jump....crash! Than i thought i will restart in solo, success! Crash on jump to supercruise. Now i can't even get back into the game....wow that's hard

The beta files are installed in a separate folder, which can be easily deleted. You can also leave the folder as it is, as the files will be used for the official release installation.

The FSS needs the ability to filter out Signal sources from showing the blue spots/circles. Even when you're at the other end of the spectrum some systems have so many of them it's nothing but a giant mess trying to zoom into the one you want.
Question. Playing with the beta version, I continue my save normally and once the beta period is over, do you continue with the same saving? Or the beta is a separate thing and with save that will disappear once the beta is over?

Does anyone know why I cannot fire any weapons in this Beta?. I keep getting the message 'module cannot be used in this cockpit mode' after weapons are deployed and I squeeze the trigger.
No, the Beta is a (few days old) 'clone' of your Live account. Nothing that happens during the Beta period affects your Live account/profile.

So far it looks very very very good. Among these, the new lightning look is also nice, the normal speed jump -> super cruise effect is really nice.
The fact that there's a mention of our location in the Galaxy is aslo i very cool add, there's many thing to discover...
