Powerplay BGS Powerplay Underming Questions

So i found a Zemina Torval control system with a few thousand population and decided to wreak some havoc and earn some undermining credits.

I have some questions.

1. It there a limit on the number of security ships in the system?

2. Is it possible to completly deplete a system of system security ships?

3. Does killing civilian faction trader ships have an impact on powerplay at all or only on the ships faction standing?

To quote Sandro Sammarco: "No"

Well that sucks :) Seems to me that the number of security ships should be based on something hooked into the background economy. Thanks for replying.

Security response time and intensity of response is determined by the security level of the system. There are 3 visible values: low, medium, and high. There are likely a range of hidden values, probably 0-150, for security level. You have to go over 100 because some Powers and some States have modifiers to the base security value. And FDev likes to have hidden variation summarised by vague words (like low, medium, and high).

Sort of? Each control system projects a 15LY bubble of exploited systems around it. If at least half of the systems within a bubble have one of Torval's favoured government types (Dictatorship, Communism, Cooperative, Feudal), they only have to ship half as many commodities to fortify it.The following systems are favourable in this way: Haroingori; LFT 78; Witsegernir; Yimanbin.

Destroying ships depletes the influence of their faction, and ultimately will lead to a civil war where they can lose control of the system. So if you're undermining a control system with one of the favourable government types, that will at least have some impact. Hope that's at least somewhat clear.
