Community Event / Creation Big Red Button working in ED? ("Dream Cheeky")

Has someone a working solution for using this panic button from Dream Cheeky in ED? I already made a keybinding with dreamcheekybtn.exe to a keyboard-letter which works in windows (e.g. editor etc.) but ED doesn't recognize... I want this as my frameshift-button...

Can you keybind the button to a keyboard button? If so just use the default keyboard settings in Elite.

As stated above: It's already assigned to a keyboardletter and works outside of ED but not inside.

ED may be thinking it is another controller, so if you have a throttle, joystick and pedals then ED may not pick it up as you have too many controllers attached.

Keyboard works, mouse works, ED-Tracker works, Saitek-Pedals work, Warthog Stick and Throttle + Cougar MFDs work... altogether... Big Red One doesn't. Weird...
