Well, I promised / threatened to make this thread a while back and now that I am back in civilized space, recon its time to make good on it.
Came across the first one on accident if you will, simply a part of the 1000 Ly plotted route toward the center, started to play with it and, well, bacame addicted to them, afterwards i went out of my way to find more and here are some results of this Hunt.
First of, the Grand Dame of Black Holes Sagittarius A*
Arriving at the center
feeling being watched
time to take off and pull the Tin Foil Hat tighter
Being out this far and long, playing with Black Holes can leave you a bit unnerved and paranoid, like things keeping an eye on you, so coming across this thing, did not help.

without the paranoia cropping, it was a planetary nebula behind it that got split like this on approach
another shot while leaving that one, the lensing of the nebula while still close to the hole
Speaking of Nebulas, Black Holes in ... er Nebula

where is the black hole? zoom in on the Canopy, i tried to capture the reflection of one in it.
red matter core?
This is one thing that's hard to capture on a still picture, the lensing effects near the holes and its what kept me coming back for more. here are some examples.
Guess I better bring this posting to a close, before y'all chuck me into the nearest Black Hole, without my Trusty Asp
