I know, but can you watch those fantasic films without thinking of the worst? This whole thing has ruined a lot of great movies for me.. I can't seperate the art from the artist.

I am guessing you are talking about me here. Was it the "best comeback the poster could think of" ... Nope, as I didn't think about it at all. It was a joke. If that offended you then I am sorry, but I will say grow a thicker skin.
This is, and always was a joke thread, No opinions (or onions) were necessary.
The part of my post that you quoted specifically described how I feel about this kind of personal attack. I appreciate that you hoped it would be an ice breaker, but really you just confirmed my opinion; I don't think jokes at the expense of others are funny.
It's weird to discuss this kind of thing in a thread and have it actually be on-topic, but it seemingly has been established that TJ being to blame (or not) is a meme, and it seems that TJ is happy for this to be perpetuated for reasons.
I don't find this particularly funny, but I don't make that joke because as I mentioned earlier in the thread, I have never taken the time to get to know TJ, I only recognise the name because of this meme.
Similarly, I don't know Bazmeson (although I read the relevant thread) and don't mock them either.
Jokes like these are good amongst friends, when the ice has already been broken. They are not good ice breakers.

that's fair enough, but I don't see the issue here. TJ has an avatar of "Don't blame TJ" it's a forum joke, as is the Bazmezon joke as he had a rage quit post with his name as the headline!

I acknowledge the hypocrisy when I say "(see what I did there?)", I am making a point. The rest has already been addressed I think.
Discussing moderation decisions isn't allowed on the forum. I could do it privately, but not here. These are the rules, and it is not for me to plead clemency even though it may be given.
This is a joke thread and I don't want to make it into some kind'a beef. Blame TJ .. It is always TJ's fault.

I am concerned that T.j is of course responsible for a great many things. Including humour. Something this dour forum at time desperately needs.
... not at the expense of others imo. Mock yourself, by all means invite others to do so. But as I said earlier, poking fun at others is not an ice breaker imo. Get to know them first.
