Blank environment map...

I think it would be nice if there was a completely BLANK and FLAT environment map on Planet Coaster in the scenario editor so that players could create their own environments to accompany their parks! What does everyone else think?

I mean, the possibilities of being able to create your own environment are endless, you could create things such as the ocean with passing ships and jumping whales and dolphins, it would also be a big help for beginners such as myself.

They could also have an option to turn freeform terrain editing off and have it like RCT3 to make it easier to create things such as rivers and lakes!

They could also do to increase the terrain editing tool from 30M maximum to 100M so that we can make more efficient lakes and have a shape list there too so that we can choose what shape we want our lakes - they could have the choices of

Circle
Square
and
Oval

When I started a topic asking for more Park Skirts it was well-before the Thememaker's Toolkit came out -- since it seems like Frontier is never gonna make more park skirts for us, it'd be great if they'd let us make our own to use and share.

That having been said, I think there are currently technical limitations that would prevent most of 4Eva's ideas even if we could, still, +1! [up]

Negativity that accurately describes an issue is far less harmful than positivity that sweeps problems (and the people experiencing those problems) under the rug. You say you want to do specific things, and you're asking for specific capabilities that you believe will allow you to accomplish them. If you're wrong about what those capabilities will allow, but Frontier gives them to you anyway, you'll be disappointed (as will everyone else who believed that). I think that us have the capabilities you've requested would be good even if they won't do what you say you want them for -- I don't see that as negative. I also think that info that could help you refine your request into something more likely to achieve your stated goals is not negative.

I made some flat maps in the old version of the game, just takes a whole lot of time =P

Granted outside the parks it's not flat, just inside them it is.
